For delivery within most of the UK mainland:
- there is a charge of £4.95 for orders under £75 and delivery is free for orders of £75 or more.
For delivery within UK to locations which include a water crossing or which are remote (postcodes starting IV or KW):
- We usually use the Royal Mail for smaller / lighter items where there is typically no extra charge.
- For larger items we normally use a courier company which charges us extra (£4). We will contact you if there are additional charges for delivery to the Highlands or Islands of Scotland, Isle of Wight, Channel Isles, Isles of Scilly, Isle of Man or Northern Ireland.
The website is not set-up for delivery abroad, so please contact us by email or telephone for delivery overseas before you place your order.
We usually dispatch your goods on the next working day following payment; sometimes we are able to despatch on the same day. Please allow up to five days at busy periods. We will email you when the goods are dispatched and also if there is any delay or difficulty.
An email is automatically sent to you once you have paid for your order. If you do not receive this email, it is likely that you have mis-spelt your email address, so please email email@example.com with details of your order so that we are able to identify your order and communicate with you about it.
The stock is shared between our webshop and our physical shop. We endeavour to keep the stock indication on the website current, however it will happen that someone will buy the last item of a line in the shop and someone else will attempt to buy it from the website before the stock level has been updated. If an item is out of stock, then we will email you or telephone you to see if you want to wait until the item will be back in stock, or choose an alternative, or change or cancel your order.
We will use whatever means is most appropriate to deliver your order. This includes the Royal Mail and DHL.
Wherever possible we re-use packaging material (e.g. cardboard).
